- The answer depends on your definition of what constitutes a “London” team. Technically speaking, there are six EPL teams that are based within Greater London. These teams include Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Crystal Palace FC, Fulham FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and West Ham United FC. All six of these clubs play their home games at stadiums located within Greater London’s boundaries.
- It is also worth noting that there are two teams that play their home games just outside of Greater London. Watford FC and Brentford FC both play their home games in Hertfordshire—which is just to the north of Greater London—but they have strong connections with the capital city and have been part of the EPL since 2015/16 and 2020/21 respectively.
- Finally, it should also be noted that Queens Park Rangers (QPR) were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2014/15 season and now compete in England’s second tier league known as The Championship. QPR still plays its home games at Loftus Road Stadium which is located within Greater London’s boundaries.
